These people call me frequently. They use a lot of different phone numbers. Probably thinking I might accidentally answer a new one. They once actually left a message asking me to call back at some other scam number. I never answer and I don't call back. It has been my experience that once you answer, they know it's a good number and your call volume increases. I had that problem with the "We're calling about your credit card" scam. I pressed 1, but they still kept calling. When I asked to be removed, the b**ch laughed and hung up on me. I believe that the last call I got from them was when I just blew a police whistle into the phone when the representative came on :) Reporting them to the DNC will do you no good. They're crooks and don't care if they're breaking the law. I have found that a goodly number of the ones calling you are actually in a different country making it very difficult, if not impossible, for the government to take action. I guess the only way to get rid of them is to use a police whistle or, even better, an air horn when the rep comes on! Police whistles are quite inexpensive, you can one on Amazon for as little as $3.45 (http://www.amazon.com/Rothco-10356-Metal-Police-Whistle/dp/B000PD9YJ0). I've been considering an air horn and found them at Cabela's for as low as $13.99 for 118db (http://www.cabelas.com/catalog/product.jsp?productId=737246#BVRRWidgetID). Walmart has several as well, but I don't know the decibel level (http://www.walmart.com/search/search-ng.do?se ... ch_constraint=0).
