I received a call this morning,recognized the voice as one of many junk calls...telling me not to hang up there has been a burglary in my neighbourhood...and being told this is not a sales call..I thought that I was on a do not call list,but it sure doesn't work on this group of morons

Telemarketer, selling an alarm system.

Past 2 weeks, have called me daily.  AGGRESSIVE PHONE STALKERS.
Option 2 to be removed from Marketing list DOES NOT WORK.

I Hit option 1.  IT IS A SALES CALL, they wish for you to sign up with them, and AGREE TO A SALES ORDER USING YOUR CREDIT CARD.

FALSE ADVERTISING (Contradictory Advertising).

Me: ask speak to Manager
HS: "MY MANAGER IS NOT WORKING TODAY."
Me: great lets go up the ranks "Director, VP, and President,"
HS: "ummm, they are not working today."

Me: remove me from marketing list
HS: 5 minutes later BRUCE calls me to congratulate me about taking the next steps in getting home security.

Me: remove from marketing list, as your SALES PITCH IS HIGHER COST THAN ALARM FORCE, AND LESSER QUALITY.
HS: NO, WE WANT YOUR MONEY

Me: are you phone stalkers?  If you can't compete with price and have inferior product GET OUT OF BUSINESS.
Me: I will gladly put your company and name on the internet

HS: [***] YOU [***]

They kept calling till I picked up.  I hung up as soon as I knew it was a recorded message but they invoke the FBI, maybe someone should tell the FBI?!

I simply pick up the phone and put it on mute and go about my work until the line bleeps.  Why not use up their air time.  I don't answer if I don't know the number calling unless I want to string the telemarketers along and waste their time which they don't like. A Pox on all of them they are criminals really trying to dupe people and we pay telephone fees for what can best be described as criminal intent or activity as they arel out to scam the public, lie and deceive us.
