In Canada. Been getting this robocall repeatedly.  If I answer, no one there.  If I don't answer, no message.  I am registered for Canada do not call, but doesn't apply to foreign callers.

Just called and 'Sarah' was asking questions about Alan Davies' essay  "Private Enigma in the Opened Text" from the L=A=N=G=U=A=G=E Book? I was confused, so I looked up Tessa Joseph Nicholas's dissertation, which has a nice bit on the essay. "Equal pleasure, equal difficulty."

caller id was IND Sur Group

they've called 3 times in the last hour.  Why would they call a Cdn # to ask about US political views?   I think it's obvious they are just going down a list of #'s from all over Canada & the States.

Just got a call from these guys.
The questions were topical and advanced political questions. The guy seemed genuine, and when I said I just couldn't afford the port fees at this time (I am a student after all) he didn't try to push the issue too hard.

He was with the Caribbean Cruise Line. I will be calling with his employee id number to confirm that this was not a scam, but I'm sure it wasn't. I will update as necessary.

I gave out my number and name to get to that point. That's not too bad.
