They are now calling cell phones in North Carolina!

This is supposed to be a forum to exchange information to identify who is making harassing phone calls and suggest realistic and legal methods of solving the problem. Swearing at and name calling each other does nothing to help. Report calls to the FCC, the Do Not Call website, and even your local law enforcement. I, too, am angered at the hundreds of calls I get each year. By reporting them, I have begun to see a reduction. These people will eventually leave you alone if they know you will take action. It's much more effective than ranting about barbed wire enigmas.

I always screen an original call before I answer it.  I look up their number and then program them in.  If they call back at a time I can answer, I use my bell screamer.  They quit calling my number once they've recouped from the terrible noise I spill.  Works every time.
