they called my office and a woman actually asked for me.  when i said "that's me" she hung up.  what a weird way to sell ANYTHING!!!

Upon answer there was no human presence on the other side.
When I spoke, I then heard a recorded voice that said "goodbye" and it disconnected.
At the worst it's either crooks making a B&E/home invasion list or worse they are collecting working number to downsell to telemarketers.
However, my Elastix PBX let's allows me banish any caller to digital purgatory by pressing only one button.

Set up a home PBX and port your number to it.  Then you can send any number to "digital hell" by pushing only one button.  They are gone forever.

They call and don't talk.  I put them on hold as soon as I hear a "Boiler Room" in the background.
