I received a call today from 970-986-3680. She refused to give me her name, business, or address insisting that I give her personal details, including my date of birth and Social Security number. That is illegal. By Colorado law, they must provide this information if a legal business. She hung up on me. I checked and there was listed A-1 Collections. Oh - I have no bills, and  I don't owe anyone any money. If this is A-1 Collections out of the West Slope, the owner was the 65 year old ex-girlfriend of the father of a ex-boyfriend years ago. Over 15 years ago, the father died of a pain pill overdose (suffering terminal cancer) and his body lay on the floor of his Delta home for two days while the girlfriend had a moving van clean the property of furniture and antiques, closed out bank accounts, and moved in with his brother nearby. The man's son and daughter spent years with an attorney to get a percentage of the property back.Yes - a good respectable business owner.
