Colorado Police Something. Never ever I would give money to an organization that calls me at home.

Got a call from this number yesterday (9/7/2016) at around 1:30 PM.  Caller ID showed as "Out of area 1-970-305-8207".  Let it roll thru to voice mail.  They didn't bother to leave any message.  Don't know who they are or what they were calling about; but I don't care either.  If you call and can't leave a message, you get added to my phone's Call Block List.  One strike, and you're out!

Called 9/7/16 @ 5:47 PM MDST. Left no message.

They claim to be a Police Charity looking for donations to help families of fallen officers as well as provide assistance to wounded officers. Their name is similar to the Colorado Police Protective Association (which is a legitimate organization) but they are not them.

Not sure if a scammer or not as charities are allowed to disregard the Do Not Call List. A few years ago - there was an organization that was making these types of calls which local news did a story on as being a scam - so beware if you choose to make a donation to this group.
