I called the number back and it was interrupted and another, perfectly legit company answered. i dialed the number on the ID which is the 9702375264 number, yet it somehow rang the other company. what i found odd was, there was dead silence for about 25 seconds before it strarted ringing.

I have a free texting app and so far I haven't ever given out the number assigned to it. This number calls it almost every day and leaves a message consisting of 1-2 seconds of silence, then a quiet beep, then 5-10 seconds of silence again. I assume it is trying to see if a live human ever answers the number, and/or trying to obtain a voice sample. I have received the same exact call and voicemail from 9702375128 as well.

I answered a call from 970-237-5264. On my caller ID it said Fort Collins. My son has a cell phone thru Verizon with this same prefix, also saying Fort Collins, which is about 400 miles from us. The woman said she was from Daily Jackpot. When I asked ,  What kind of scam is this?"  she hung up.
