Calls everyday, but leaves no message

Tried to check my credit report thru gogreecredit.com, but after I logged in my $1 charge on my credit card, with a promise of TransUnion giving me all 3 credit reports, it just locked up saying, Loading, from then on out. Exited out without getting my report & now I got several calls from Credit Repair people, some other creepy thing and now this, which simply had loud abrasive music answer without saying anything or a recording.  What a crock!  You can't even check your credit scores anymore! I HATE HATE HATE SPAM CALLS AND IT IS GETTING MUCH MUCH WORSE.

Person represents themselves as Smart Dental.  Says they're calling up on my inquiry about dental insurance.  I've asked them NUMEROUS times to call.  Next time, I'm going to tell them that they will owe me $2000 per call since I've asked them to stop calling me and going to talk about this with my attorney

They have called me several times and the strange part is that they had to get to my actual ext. to get me.  They caller id says Vital One Heath and they hung up every time i answered or there was a recorded message.  Finally today i got a real person when i answered.  They are a telemarketer of some kind.  I didn't even let her do her thing i just told her this was a business and she said sorry and hung up.

If you set up your phone to block unknown calls, they may ring the first time but then you can add them to a blocked list of numbers in your phone's contact list. Very easy to do on iPhone and Android.  If the call is important they will leave a message.  If they leave a message you can then judge from the message if the call is legit or not (mostly not).and then determine if you'll call them back.  Make the technology work for you.

Don't feel like you have to answer every call, by doing so you just let the caller know they have an active number and will continue to call using "spoofed" numbers.  Also do not use your name on your voicemail answering message - if you use a message at all, it's best to use the generic automated message provided by your carrier ie;" Hello you've reached XXX XXX XXXX please leave a message". The less information you provide these people the better, nothing is accomplished by engaging them other than you providing them with confirmation that the number is active and they can then sell that information to other "harass-holes".
