message says the IRS is going to file a lawsuit against me. same message from 952-314-5206 5 times in a couple hours last Friday

A call from IRS saying they are going to file a lawsuit against me. The person claimed to be an IRS agent with a very heavy Indian accent.

It is a scam.

The IRS does not initiate contact via a phone call, they first send postal letters.
The IRS does not threaten arrest.
The IRS does not demand immediate payment over the phone.
The IRS does not ask for Credit card, Debit card, or prepaid money card information, at all.

It is a scam ran by offshore criminals attempting to trick you into sending them money.

The call was on my husbands phone and it was a recording saying that it was the IRS's final notice that they were filing a lawsuit against us and to call this number back.
