This is not a phishing scam; it's legit. If they called you, your or your spouse probably has United Healthcare for your insurance. My employer's health insurance is through United Health Care, and our HSA, FSA, etc., is through OptumHealth. They offer a Wellness Plan to help prevent disease and bring down their healthcare costs.
I just got off the phone with them; they were calling about Wellness Coaching. They gave a list of topics to choose from--weight loss, exercise, nutrition, diabetes, heart-healthy lifestyle, and maybe one other. If you sign up, you get a wellness coach assigned to you who will call you once a month for 3-6 months to help you with your health goal. You also get email or voicemail tips on the area you chose. (No texting, unfortunately, but I suggested it to the representative.)
I signed up for it. It's an additional benefit, and is a service people do pay for. I just joined a gym two weeks ago, so I figure the extra support will only help. Also, it's free, and I'm cheap. :)
