got a call from a Kristi, Saying she's with ATT and they are upgrading DSL in our area, said she had my info on record, but insisted that I give her that info for secure conformation. I thought it to be strange that she insisted that I give her my SS number although she said they had it on file. I told her no way I was giving it to her and ended our conversation. I'm not sure she was legit, I did not want to take that chance. I would think ATT would send me an e-mail requesting that I get in touch with them.

Got a call from Sky wanting to switch us over to ATT u verse for our business and saying they can reduce our monthly bill. She has requested our EIN info so she can confirm that we are a business.  We have been with ATT for 10 years as a business account. I do not understand why they would need to confirm our business with an EIN (employer identification number).  I found it strange that they need this private info so I took her info and said I will call her back.  When I call the number back they answer ATT authorized dealer. I called ATT directly to get a lower rate and they could not offer that same rate.  I am confused. Are they legit or not?

Someone named Dennis called me and tried to get me to switch my ATT DSL service to ATT U verse.  Dennis gave me his number and told me to talk to his supervisor "Andrew" when I called back.  I have been a business customer with ATT for the last nine years.  I called ATT to validate the call.  Chris at ATT validated that a company was contracted to change people over to ATT u verse. ATT reported that they would be happy to help me.  ATT changed the service for me.  If you are in doubt, call ATT and they will help.

it is a spam. call your att and ask them.

Hang up calls from 952-388-2809, when I called back it went to someone's voicemail. Not a service provider and very unprofessional.
