I get calls every day from "Horizon Power" I ask them every day to take me off their list. They then say that if I tell them if I own my own home then they can take me off their list. I will not tell them if I own my own home or not. After getting nasty with one of them they finally said they took me off their list. Apparently they did not because I got another call today. I told them I will call the police and report them for harassment if they don't stop calling me.

I just received another call from them as well, and I never answer numbers I don't recognize, so I didn't. But, I found it helpful to read these comments, and specifically the one from you, dg, since you did what I was going to do myself, which was to investigate "Horizon Power". Since you discovered that they *do not exist*, they are obviously a scam, and not just your standard telemarketer trying to sell something.

I would be interested in knowing whether or not those receiving calls are actually located in the area of the number, which is the Riverside area of SoCal. I'm actually in the area, but without a land line, and my cell phone number is still associated with my permanent address. In other words, I question the "random" nature of it, and would be interested in knowing if they are targeting specific numbers/persons rather than the standard robo calls.
