Hang up calls rely on people's curiosity to call them back to see who called. They are most likely pay per call numbers that will add their hefty charge to your phone bill just for dialing the number.

The latest scam is the "can you hear me okay" call. If you say yes, it's a voice authorization to what ever scam they attach your voice "yes" to.  The best way to stay out of trouble with these schemers and scammers is not to answer or respond to any number you don't recognize.

If it's a legitimate call from a number you don't recognize the caller will most likely leave a voice mail.

no message left unsure how many rings don't know the number or person calling.

Just another con artist trying to steal you information.

We got a call from this number today at 6:15 pm and didn't answer. The caller ID was BANNING CA, and no voicemail message was left. Thanks to all who posted information about this number. It will be added to our call blocker.
