Unbelievable!  I had barely requested a quote from one company and this company called me 2x in a row.  I answered the second call and they said they were calling about the auto insurance quote I had requested.  I asked what company they were, and was given a name of a company I did not know.  I told the representative that I did not request a quote from this company and she asked me if I would like a quote anyway and I said NO.

i've been getting harrassed via text from 518 area code, then again from a 541 area code. i found its from a website where people can use their computer and send texts from unused phone numbers. now this 951 number is calling me 3 times in a row. i answered and they hung up. related maybe?

called 4 times in 5 minutes.
had called twice earlier in the day, saying they were responding to an insurance quote request.

problem is, I had not such a request.  person on line got real testy when I said I did not want quote, and WILL NOT be changing insurance companys.

A huge time sponge! I click on an Internet website to get a "fast free quote" for car insurance. What followed was three minutes of filling out a form, after which I clicked on the tab for my quick quote. Within seconds the phone rang with some stooge on the other end wanting to talk with me about my car insurance. When I told him all I wanted was a quick quote and could have done all this by calling the local insurance agent in town, he hung up. Moments later a rep from 21st Progressive called wanting to talk insurance rates. I told her to take a hike. What a waste of time. I never did receive my "quick free quote." By the way, I tried calling back the numbers - and they are dead ends.
