This number shouldn't be calling you; you should be calling it-if you have small children. It's Santa's Hotline. The kids hear a message from Santa (Be good. Listen to your parents. Etc.), then the kid's can LEAVE a message FOR Santa!

According to the websites I've read, it does cost the long distance fee, but that's all, if you live outside the 951 area code. If you're in the 951 area, it costs. Weird!

The number has been used since 2001 because the postal service could no longer afford to send letters to santa.
Below is the reason it all started if you would like to check it out.
My 3 yr old really enjoyed this so now eveytime she starts acting up i ask her if i needed to call Santa and let him know shes beening bad...and it works...lol
