It is the number for American Funds. They are an investment firm. They would have called you if you have an account with them and they need more info or to ensure the info they have is correct.

I received a call from this number, it's from Capital Group/American Funds, an Investment Company. I had recently applied for a position, and they were calling to schedule an interview.
