Caller ID: Unknown Call CA. I believe I can safely state that any and all phone numbers in the 949 area with a 611 prefix are spoofed and fraudulent. This includes 949-611-1040 which also has called, and many other numbers listed on 800Notes.
In the 949 area, 611 is not a usable prefix. In the 949 area, as soon as you dial 611 (regardless of what other 4 digits that may be on the caller number ID) you will be connected to Cox Telephone repair services. Cox reported to me that they would not make a call from any number with the 611 prefix. They referred me to the CA State Attorney General to pursue further action.

This is a robo dialer.  Go ahead and block the other numbers it uses too:

This number calls multiple times a day and there is no one there when I answer.  It sounds like someone is there but then after I say Hello numerous times they hang up.  It's getting extremely annoying!
