I have been receiving numerous calls from 1 949 415 2151 which shows up as a california # , and the message I receive when I listen to the Voice Message left by the above Number, and I quote " It is (the current time), thank you and goodbye." I have received roughly 10 messages from this 'California business number' in the past 3-4 days. I also believe this is the same firm selling phony car warranty extensions via Verizon cell phone #'s (I cannot be sure but the # is of the same area code, and I do not know of anyone one person or businesses from said area code). Please expose the origin of this # and take the proper action. Thank you so very much.

I too received a call from the above number.  I'd sent it to voicemail, and the message had something to do with confirming an appointment with a menu to select from.

Well I do received a phone call from this # reminder an appointment twice today. It is really annoying me. How can I block this?

The caller ID says: PRACTICE MATE. I think they are a company that businesses like doctors, dentists, etc. contract with to automatically remind their patients of appointments. The day before your appointment Practice Mate will call and an "machine like" voice will remind you that you have an appointment with Dr. Smith on February 10, 2010 at 9:00am for example.

This is from Practice Mate. I get the call once a week to remind me I have an appointment the next day. It is legit.
