Tracie, if you do not recognize the number or it is our of your error.  99% of the time it is a scammer.  Do not answer it.
If it is important they will leave a message. and you can call back.  If you answer it tells them that it is a good number and they resale your number to other people looking for numbers.  I cannot believe it is worth the trouble they use call so many people who HATE THEM.  
I sometimes answer these call and scream into the phone. ..."the job is done, there is blood everywhere, run, run run"  and I hang up.  Let them stew on that for a while.  ha.

They tell you they work for Google,but when you continue asking questions it appears they don't work work for google,but just provide "data" for google if you pay them...  They are such scammers. AVOID and report them!!

A woman whose accent is so thick I cannot understand her.  She said Google,  so I am assuming she is with Google.   She called back, I didn't answer this time, and she left a rude message that she could not understand me! No kidding! English is not her first language.
She calls me evefy afternoon at 3:00 pm est.

Called me and with thick accent  and barely acceptable English command told me they are google.  After wasting 5 minutes on the phone and being transferred to 2nd agent it appeared they are not google but just SEO company that gets you to 1st page.
What a smart and elaborate scam!!! I bet many just fall for it.

Funny thing is, they are nowhere to be found on Google themselves so what can they do for you?!?  Also, they offer you services that you can do for free if you spend 30 minutes researching it...You'll get the same results and $0 cost.

I am a new business owner, and registered my business with yellowpages.com, as well as looked into registering with Google AdWords. Shortly thereafter I began to get calls from this unidentified company. They have now called me 4 times in less than 24 hours, and every time I have told them that I am not interested and to stop calling me. The last time they called me, I told them again to stop calling me and when I asked to speak with a manager they representative hung up on me.
