This was spam/spoof  call from 904-021-2521 identifying themselves as Microsoft telling me my computer is generating error messages and instructing me to press 1 to retrieve information to correct the problem.  Wish I had pressed 1 to harass them as they harass us!  The number on my caller ID doesn't exist so there is really no way to effectively report or block them.

Called and hung up on the answering machine

I got a call like this on Thanksgiving of all days but didn't respond to the message they left. A friend of mine got a similar call about a month ago and when she unthinkingly allowed them access to her computer they used it to steal her credit/debit card, bank account and other personal information. Be very wary of this and other similar type calls and DO NOT give them access to your computer.

Total rip off, but automatically labeling scammers as developmemtally disabled and mentally ill is not an insult to them. They don't read these notes.  It reveals your prejudice and lack of compassion for the disabled and those with an affective disorder.

Report the call to the FCC.
