This number called me to enter me in a drawing for cash and prizes for being a "preferred" customer of Visa, Mastercard, etc. I was then given options of getting magazines for free. I am not sure if this was a scam or not. I declined the magazine offer and did not give out any information.

I also received a call from this number. I declined to give any information to them.

That number has be calling me like crazy for the past three days! I'm wondering if I should call them back and tell them to quit calling

Calling them back will confirm that your number is available and they'll sell it to other scammers. Try ignoring, blocking and reporting this number.

Like mike they called and hung up. Caller ID said "The Analytical".   This was their first time calling so I will see if they continue to call.  

I have one number from a company from CA that will call me all the time.  Sometimes they call several times a day. When this CA number calls they ask for Barbara. When they do answer I tell them that there is no Barbara here. I have asked them several times to remove me from their calling list, but this has not helped.  When they called the other day the person would not respond to me, but I could tell that they were recording me. I told them that I knew they were recording me and that was just fine. Because I can document every time that they have called me. I have Vonage, and with Vonage you can do a search of any number that has called you and it will bring up every time that number has called. I do plan on filing a complaint on this CA company as soon as I can find out who is the appropriate state official to file with is.

I am tired of all of the annoying calls, esp. when I am on the Do-Not-Call list, which is a joke in of itself.
