This is your ordinary lying spammer of a flea-infested robocaller pretending to call from a local Area Code. No truth in that. It's the usual crookedness pretending to be legit. The clue: My online call-blocking service intercepted the call and stopped it after one ring. So the robocaller software detected that and immediately redialed from a number that is usually used in these circumstances: 608-371-6666. That rollover strategy happens a lot. Bottom line: Block the crooks anytime you see Caller ID that you don't recognize from your own area and which immediately calls back from 608-371-6666.
