The voice will ask you to say "delete" after you press "9" to delete the number. May be same strategy as when scammers call and ask a question to which you naturally answer "yes." A legitimate business would have a person talk to you instead of a recording offering good income for entrepreneurs.

I'm sure that they can do as much or more with "delete" as they can with "yes".
