614-504-2377 is the number that called me I googled & it is from Plainfield, OH
However the recorded message made no mention of my name but said:

Same call received. They didn't ask for anyone by name and didn't say who/what company they are calling from. Sounds suspicious to me

"The following message is for (my name) my name is Lisa Carter calling to schedule service of process number so I don't know your timing may be present for scheduled it with new voluntary my number is 937-249-1110 in the event tell I do not hear from you or your retained attorney I will document that you waste yhour rights to counsel for that your transfer also the sate for further action govern yourself"  **My phone uses Transcription Beta to transcribe voicemail.  Therefore, this is posted exactly as Transcription Beta transcribed it.  I contacted the company that I am working with.  They called and spoke with Ms. Carter.  She would not give them any information other than it was the Litigation Department.  Of what company and who they represent, we still don't know.  My representative with the company I'm working with suggested that I call Ms. Carter.  I did as the representative told me, Ms. Carter did not answer.  Therefore, I left a message.

I just got the same message, however my phone never rang only notification of voicemail.  I, too, have transcription beta.  My name was never mentioned though but got the same message as you all have including "good luck" at the end.  Interestingly though I got almost the verbatim message on Wednesday from number 440-328-4791...which after researching that number is listed as a Keller Williams office in Elyria, OH (?). Definitely a scam!!

This is a complete scam.  Not calling them back does not waive your right to council.

Criminals masquerading as debt collectors attempt to extort money from people by scaring you into believing that you will be criminally charged (they use the bad check or hot check claim a lot) and go to jail, lose your driver’s license, have wages garnished without actually being sued or going to court, be sued, and a variety of other variations on this, all for an alleged or nonexistent debt.  One of the tricks they use is to call your family, friends, neighbors and/or places of employment (past or present or both) to create panic and embarrassment so that their intended victim calls them and they can scare that person into paying their extortion money.  They will use the words “Mediator”, “Arbitrator”, or “Law Office” to make you believe that they are something other than a debt collector want-a-be and that they don’t have to follow Federal and State collection laws.  They do have to follow those laws, but they won’t.  They mention that they have received a Fax document, to create the sense of urgency.  They also tell you that if you fail to call them back you are "waiving your right to council", which is pretty much nothing but hogwash.  They also use the “process server” ruse who calls and claims he is going to serve you, but then says you could avoid it by calling another number where they will ask for money to “make it go away” (this is actually the same place, they work in teams, one pretending to be the server, and the other usually pretends to be a lawyer).  Process servers do not ever call ahead so that you can dodge them.  Process servers get paid to serve papers, nothing else.
