An IRS scammer called earlier today and left the following computer synthesized voice message: “Hello. This call is officially your final notice from IRS, Internal Revenue Service. The reason of this call is to inform you that IRS is filing lawsuit against you. To get more information about this case file, please call immediately on our department number 936-615-7158. I repeat 936-615-7158. Thank you.”

Previously I have received similar messages originating from the following telephone numbers: 510-509-5824; 213-610-1302 and 347-252-3827.

I just received the same call like Richard. The number came up as no caller id but the voicemail listed this number: 936 615 7158. IRS Scam.
