Just trying to get information. SCAM

Scam. Told them I can take a message so they can get a call back, then he hung up!!

They claimed to be from UPS and they said that they wanted to verify what type of number they were calling--- residential or personal.  If I did not answer the question, they would not deliver the package.  I asked where the package was coming from and they gave me the name of a company that I did not recognize.  I refused to give the information without more information.  They said that if I gave them the information, that I would receive a verification call with all of the information.  They called several times, then hung up on me.

scam.  do not give any information.  claim to be USPS.

Called four times within 3 hours (starting at 6:10 a.m.).  It was the same male voice each time but different phone numbers every time he called.  He asked if this was a residence or business and just hung up after I asked him to take our number of his list.  He then called back and asked why I was being so rude and then called back 3 hours later just asking if it was a home or business.
