Creepy. Called on my cell, asked for my 13 year old son, they asked if I lived at my address, yes. They tried to sell me home improvement. When I finally got a word in I asked how they got my son's name on my phone. The woman didn't know. I told her this was creepy and shady. Do not answer...BLOCK.

Received a call but didn't pick up bc I don't recognize the number.  Didn't leave a message either.

I got a call from this number and a woman asked if I was (my name). I asked who she was and she rattled off something too fast for me to understand. She again asked if this was (my name). I asked her what she wanted but she wouldn't say, just kept asking if I was (my name). After 4 attempts she said she would call back when I could answer the question. I told her to never call back and blocked the number. It just smelled like a scam.

i bet she was trying to have you say "yes" so she could grab your voice authorization

"voice authorization" for what exactly? What is there that you can authorize by simply saying the word "yes". Also, wouldn't that mean that you could never, ever again say the word "yes"? After all you simply never know when someone might be recording you, heck, every smart phone has that capability and almost everyone has a smart phone. So, the next time you go to a restaurant and the waitress asks you if you want coffee or desert, simply do not say yes, because she might be recording you so that she can use your yes to open up bank accounts and credit cards in your name.
