Got a call from them trying to sell me supplemental insurance for Medicare. I don't even qualify for Medicare yet. I think it is a scam.

They call several times a day and during suppertime.  I never answer, but they're persistent.

Stupid is as stupid does, I suppose. This is an actual company here in NC apparently called Cardinal United. They left their telephone number and I got a voice mail when I called back identifying themselves and asking me to leave a message.
They must be new to the game or else they'd be spoofing the number. Oh well, another FTC compliant and a nice fine for them!

Oh, one of the fun things I've been doing on and off lately is to go online and fill out a bunch of applications for credit cards, or anything that has a "contact me with information" deal. Once I get to the contact information, I enter the offending number (919-535-8261 in this case). If you do the credit card application, the number is automatically sold off to collection agencies and the credit report people. That means, their number gets entered in to the massive matrix of telemarketing fraud, and they too will start receiving multiple annoying calls every hour of every day. Pass it on!
