I too got a call from this number, called back and no ans.

They just called me too, I didn't answer because I don't know the number.  Anyone have any idea?

The little [***] called me to.

I received a call from this number about "lowering my credit card rates".  I pressed '9' to talk to a human, and had a delightful conversation with a fine Indian man named "Cliff Peterson."  He suggested repeatedly that I am a "[***]" and that "India is going to bomb the USA."  This went on for several minutes, and I regret not having my pocket phone recorder plugged in.

The phone number resolves to "Intermedia Communications, Inc."

This well may be a caller coming through skype.   I signed up for a skypeout account - and this was the number displayed on my home phone while I was doing testing with it.
