recorded woman's voice saying IRS is filing a lawsuit...I should call 917 688 4186; last week had a call from a "Ryan Brown" with an Indian or Pakistani accent saying he was from the IRS and I was being charged with tax fraud; his phone number had a Virginia area code; he said that the Sheriff would be at my door in four hours with documents and that I would be detained; I said "I'll be waiting for him," and hung up.  I reported that call to tigta; will now report the latest call to tigta. Both had made other attempts to reach me three weeks ago but did not leave messages.

Got a phone call saying it was the IRS and had an arrest warrant...needed to send a money gram for 1545.00 and had to stay on the phone all the way to the bank and then he ("a federal agent with the IRS") would then give me wiring instructions....What a Scam...ridiculous

Constant calls every 15 min. saying the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me..How do I stop these call from coming?

we got two calls back to back too....we called back...they said we owed money..they hung up on us..said they issued an arrest warrant too....go get a real job!!!!

Received a voice mail on my landline answering machine late this afternoon that this was the 'final official notice of IRS filing a lawsuit'.   Call back number provided was: 917-688-4186.  In dialing the number, received voice mail response that 'the person you are trying to reach is not available'.
