Caller claimed to call regarding a Police charity. Wanted at least a $15 donation Commitment before sending decal to put on car along with detailed information.

It's a scam and the decals do no good. If you did something wrong it will not help you avoid a ticket.

This is a scam call your police station we been getting letters about these types off scam and also the IRS scam and computer scam they are all scams. Warn others

Big Scam  this does not go to the cops this go into there pockets it is a fake scam got the same call it sounded like a sound board the guy just ask them the date and time they can't answer than they put me the phone with some one that could mail me nothing or have a real website she made up a fake one. These are scams people report them to your local police so they can warn others about this scam.

I received this call on Tuesday, April 4, 2017. I would love to help the local Police or Sheriff's department, however I feel uncomfortable giving out information over the phone. As a result I will be making some changes in the future, and taking more precautions when accepting phones calls from unknown parties.
