scam telling you they have a warrent out for you for taxes, which IRS doesn't do. Everything is done by mail and then tax court. What pisses me off if people don't understand this or they get an old person who is not with it and they pay money. These people  need to be arrested. please report these numbers to your state AG office and they dumb [***] one we have in the federal govt.

The gist of the message:  There is a legal petition notice, tax evasion and tax fraud against my name.  Call them before case is registered in federal court and before arrest warrant is issued in my name...

Message left on home answering machine the afternoon of 8/30/16. Gee, I hadn't gotten a call from "the Internal Revenue Service" in at least a few weeks...I was beginning to think they didn't like me anymore!  This time, it was a slightly different twist on the usual call. This call was a female robo-voice from "Officer Sharon Williams" of the "Legal Investigation Dept. of the Internal Revenue Service."  Just my luck -- a warrant is about to be issued in my name for tax evasion and tax fraud. But wait! If I just call 914-292-0472 before the filing...well, you know the drill. I guess I should go out and buy $3,000 worth of iTunes gift cards right now to fend off this lawsuit. It sucks that some people are falling for this b.s.
