That appears to be a 'legitimate' business, with a lousy business plan.
Lots of taural feces and LOTS of complaints on the Internet!
http://www.zoom40.com/antivirus

Lots of gobbledygook:
http://www.zoom40.com/privacy-policy

And, just for laughs, I tried their "Contact us":
https://www.zoom40.com/client/contact.php

"Down for Maintenance (Err 3)
We are currently performing maintenance and will be back shortly."

Yeah!

And "Step Services Inc." DOESN'T EXIST on the Internet, only ZOOM40!
Their given address is in San Francisco, not NY. What gives?

STEP SERVICES INC
Frisco Real Building
Room#1, E4 Floor,
67th Street, San Francisco

THAT address has no phone number according to 411. Go Figure!

MAYBE no 'crime' has been committed? But if there has,
is anyone looking into it?

Caller ID says VB Viswajith. Keeps calling and I let the answering machine get it. No messages left so I looked up this number and lo and behold here I am. 1 Guy says it's some smack off trying to get into your computer by saying they are from Microsoft and there is a problem with your computer. Well I can't say one way or another because I haven't answered the phone but I have had many of those calls before and even threatened them but they still call. Somehow these [***] get your number via malware on your computer and when you fill out some online form using your phone number and other info the calls start coming in. Guess I am infected. F***!
