This person said they were referred by someone I know.  They said that they are trying to establish a new business in my area and that they were referred to me if I may be interested in a job.  This person wanted some information regarding myself such as, where do I work and what are my interests.  I did not tell them.  I asked twice, what business is this and the lady would not tell me.  She wanted to get to know me first.  I told her I am not looking for a job and my friends are not either.  Then she asked for the name of the sales person that referred me to them.  I was like, I have no clue.  I don't know any sales person.  They hung up.

Some lady left a message on my machine on July 2, 2008, basically stating the exact same thing.  It wasn't pre-recorded and the number showed up on my caller i.d.  Of course I'm suspicious.   Wonder what the hook is?

We got basically the same call.  The female voice sounded a little strange, like it was muffled, it sounded "modified".  She said she had gotten our number from  a  friend who said that  said we where interested business opportunities.  She was asked what that  business opportunity  was and  she said she could only talk about it  if  we gave her personal information, FIRST. It sounded phishy.

I received a voicemail from the same number. Said her name was "Sandi" and that her company received some information that I was looking for work. I'm not, and I have no idea where they would have got my number. How annoying.
