We are getting rid of our land line so I have been picking up these calls if I happen to be home. This was another one of those "lower your interest on your credit card" scams. I have a feeling this is a spoofed number. This wasn't one of the Rachel or Brigitte calls. We get lots of Brigitte calls! At least they don't leave a message and clog up my answering machine.

I pressed "1" and a guy started talking. I laughed and called him a name or two, and told him I love jacking with people like him and wasting his time because I have nothing better to do. Since our land line is going to be gone shortly, this is the only reason I talk with them now. Our home phone doesn't ring, so I need to be sitting right next to one of them and see it light up or I don't know it's ringing.

I used to never answer these calls because I know once I did, I was letting them know that they reached a working number, however, we were still getting 10 of these calls a day even when I just ignored them. Now I am having little fun at their expense. Jerks!
