A number listed as "SSI" called at 5:15 P.M.; no message was left. I know it is not the real SSI, because no government flunky would be working that late.

Caller claimed they were TNS conducting research. I called back the vmail stated they were SSI. Blocked!

This number also called me tonight but was blocked after one ring due to the free blocking service now on my home phone. While surveys are permitted to call, I still file a complaint since using SSI as their company name is misleading. Unsuspecting people will think it is the real Social Security Office and answer, setting themselves up for more calls.

Twice in one evening, less than two hours apart. Blocked after one ring again, amazing how these morons will continue to call despite being blocked. Filing another complaint again, even though it is a survey and is exempt from donotcall, it still is misleading and frequent calls can be considered harassment. I have also suggested to donotcall (until I find out who my congressman is, just moved to NC) that Congress should consider making surveys part of the donotcall list of people who should not be calling. Doesn't hurt to say anything.
