Did not leave a voicemail for me either and then when I called back no one answers and it goes to a busy signal... every time....

I have received numerous calls from this number. It always hangs up when the answering machine picks up. As I don't recognize this number ( won't answer a number I don't recognize) and they don't leave a message I strongly suspect that it is a robo call SCAM artist.  Other sites have reports that it is another reincarnation of the firefighters fund raising scam. Tend to believe that those sites are right on the money!

I inadvertently hit the wrong button on my phone and heard a voice saying something about a fire department (at that point I hung up but no one called again) but it was for a different town (next town over from me) and the city on the caller id was yet another town. That caller id city is 82 miles from me. Definitely a scam, if you are calling for donations (not sure how they do it here since I just moved here but in my former state, official donation requests were sent to a each resident on a yearly basis, never a phone call) show the actual name of the department, charity, etc you represent, not a city 82 miles away. Definitely will file yet another complaint (fourth different call today) since this one was not blocked (yet).

A call came in from this number 910-354-3949, asking me to give a donation to a fire department which I don't even live in that state nor the county they are representing. when I told the man that with all scams going on, I would greatly appreciate it he deleted my number and he said oh I'm sorry to bother you and hung up immediately. SCRAM.
