Called, no message

Called once, did not answer. I do not answer any caller I don't know, or don't use their Caller ID. They did not leave a message, so they are blocked.

Called once, I answered but it seemed like a machine on the other end. It hung up on me after a few seconds.

Called and hung up. Caller ID said "Customer Care".

Just got a call from this number. I answered as the call was from the '908' area code which is mid-state NJ, usually north of Trenton or even Lumberton.  I'm not sure exactly where this number pick-up but I thought it could be legitimate as the caller ID said customer care. No one was on the line and after about 10 seconds the line disconnected on their end.  I called the number back and got the message: this number is not in service-message number 14 Switch 8-11 (or at least that's as close as I could get, the message was a computer and not very clearly spoken.
INTERESTING NOTE:  When I looked-up the number on Google the number came-up as a web page with a note about how wonderful Customer Care is and a product ID scan Box.  You know the kind that are black and splotchy that you wave a reader over, not the kind with all the lines.

Thanks to my son I was able to get a QR reader and read the code printed there.  The reason this number did not come up when dialed as a USA number is that the call didn't come from the USA. It came from RUSSIA.  The number is actually:
+7-908-583-1814.  If it were a US number it would have come back as +1-908-583-1814.
