Fake police officer, can tell accent is someone that doesn't  speak english as first language putting on north american accent. Threatened that if me or my attorney did not call this number there would be 'serious' consequences. NEVER RESPOND TO THESE CALLS, if someone claiming to be police calls you, ask for a badge number and dispatch center and say you need to do research to confirm. Also, government will NEVER ask you to pay back anything using Western Union or Itunes gift cards.

They just called me and said they were the Canadian revenue agency, calling for a legal matter, and If myself or my attorney did not return the call, the legal matter would be on me...

Had the same thing; call from blocked number, sounded automated, to call back this number or legal matter from CRA will fall to me.
The CRA would never call from a blocked number, and doesn't make automated calls.

Received the automated call with a supposed office claiming to be with the CRA and to call back or retained lawyer call. Hilarious it is a recorded message that calls. For a laugh, called the 905 963 0240, and another recorded message plays, same guy as the supposed officer who calls saying "Thank you for calling the CRA, we are unable to take your call. Please call again later"...amazing that the CRA has police officers record the phone greeting for them. And only in English as well, would have expected a English and French option. Too funny.

Same thing as above i also called rcmp and they said this scam is around 4 yrs old already dial the number confront them as scam they will hang up lol too much but after u call you can block this number
