Received a call and stupidly called it back.  They say they're a litigation company for payday loan.  I confirmed my phone number but not my ss#.  She then preceded to tell me they were in the process of garnishing my income due to none payment on a payday loan company I never heard of for $500.  She kept talking and never let me say anything.  I told her I knew nothing about it and my credit report is clear then told her never to call again and hung up!

Can't garnish wages unless they go to court in front of a real judge and win their case.  Can't win a case with fake information.

I called that number.  Claim to be a mediation company.  Located in Florida.  Lady I talked to had a Caribbean accent.  The hold music was similar to what I've heard with the Caribbean off-shore scammers.  Ignore and block the number.  They may change their number, but they almost never change their creepy hold music.

They called, I answered so I could tell them I was on the do not call list, and never to call again, and the first thing they said was "first name, last name" and then a woman's voice came on and said according to my social security information" and that is when I hung up....definitely scammers and I want them stopped.... they are calling my cell phone and how did they get it, I certainly didn't share it with them and I want this stopped!  Against the law for them to call me on cell phone or house phone being I am on the do not call list...

Had a call on my VM from this number - can tell it is a recording as it stops to say your name and then continues - message as according to my social security number I was eligible for a financial settlement and to call the number.  Of course I just deleted the voice mail.  I have had name calls always with a different numbers so I no long answer calls - I let them go to VM and then then delete them after copying down the numbers.  My credit report is clean..
