Called before and we did not answer.  Called today and we did answer.  They said they were "Amvets" which we assume is American Veterans.  Very polite.  We explained have specific charities that we support and asked to be taken off their call list.

(904)853-8024  is not the AMVETS.  Have two numbers for the AMVETS in the Jacksonville, FL phone book of 1-800-735-3720 or 904-389-4317.  Where has been  scam phone calls to people requesting donations for different agencies in the North East Florida area.  This may be a scam.   I have caller ID and an answering machine.   I didn't answer the call.  Party didn't leave a message.
