Jodi, don't jack with these yahoos.  They called the business office where I work a couple of times in the last couple of days.  This morning the guy asked for the owner by first name, which is what all telemarketers, scammers do.  I asked who he was and who he was with.  He said Chris with SSI.  I said I'm sorry but I don't know initials.  He chuckled and said Security Solutions Inc.  They do security cameras.  I told him we're not interested do not call.  He said the owner has to tell him that and he will keep calling until he does.  I got quite irate.  I told him I already had the FCC website pulled up and was reporting him. We are on a do not call list, which seems to do  absolutely no good.

Got a call from Chris at  SSI, said returning call from someone that works here that was interested in cameras
told him we were not interested and they had not called him.  He got irate.  I will not do any business with these kind of people as they are calling people on the DO NOT CALL LIST. They not only call but they harrass the people on the other line. They sometimes get the owners unbeknown to them, good luck in doing business with someone like this.

Tisk tisk, Yes i have called. Yes i have asked for the owners by first name, and yes, there probably have been some unpleasant conversations with those on the other end. But as we are all taught growing up, there are always two sides to every story. Let me put it to you like this, I have never been rude, mean or combative with nice, receptive people. Even if not receptive and not even nice, I still have not been rude, mean or combative. But, to those who choose to speak to a fellow tax payer, fellow citizen, fellow parent and equally fellow HUMAN BEING, like I am less than you are or a over assumptious EMPLOYEE (no matter your title) who thinks they can make executive decisions on behalf of their onwer and decides to treat me rudely no matter how respectful I am, like I always am from the very beginning of every single call I make, and stop me from potentially putting food in my kids mouths by hanging up on me as I ask for the owner by their GOD given name or degrade me right there on the phone., well, I geuess you can say they get a nice little tune up. But, in retrospect,  I cant even begin to count how many wonderful conversations I have with interested or non interested owners on a daily basis. Get it straight, I am a salesman and not a Telemarketer. See with my product we where able to identify the Boston Bombing Terrorist, most FBI,CIA AND FED cases.....the list goes on. Telemarketers dont sell that. They sell State Trooper donations, Free getaway trips, credit card machine, etc. I sell protection to hard working business owners to protect them from their most devious enemy, THEIR EMPLOYEES.Now, out of the hundreds of thousands of business and owners I speak to on a yearly basis and to have only 2 complaints...am I really that bad of a guy? If youre going to dish it, you be able to take it. And I do not harass. If the people paying the bills ask me to stop calling or if we've established that you do not need my services, you never here from me again.
