Got a call IDed as "local".  Don't answer such calls.  No message on voice mail.  I classify as a nuisance call.

Called and told me that they were from the Florida police department asking me to become a booster. Once he went through his obviously scripted spiel, he asked me if I was interested in becoming a financial booster and I told him that I was unemployed I did not have any extra money but I appreciated what they did by blessing underprivileged youth. Once he realized that I was not able to help out financially he became unfriendly and impatient and hung up on me. If this is legitimate they need to work on their phone etiquette, but honestly it feels like a scam to me.

Repeated calls. Say nothing. SPAM harassment.

Just block this number.  It's spam.
