I received a message today saying this was so and so from the state sheriff department and that there was a complaint against me and if I didn't call 904-418-8718 back within 4 hours then a warrant would be put out for my arrest. if I called back the number and spoke to a Mr. Jason Woods to get the complaint taken back then nothing would happen. if i did not call,  they would either come to my place of employment or my residence to arrest me .  I tried calling the number back and it said "This magice jack customer is not available . please leave a message." i did not leave a message. i hung up right away. what a way to try and scare the living daylights out of someone.

Um, state sheriff?  ROFL..  that should have given it away right there.. County's have sheriff's, State is State Police, City is the Local PD.  Impersonating a officer is a federal offense no matter what agency is involved though.  

I suspect you may be looking at a extortion scammer here..  Big red flag if they want to cut you a deal and major red flag if they want you to settle for a dropped fee and get a green dot or similar card..  Another red flag being the attitude you just might get as well if you speak at them.

If any of the agency's actually had a warrant or complaint, they have just came to your home btw, they do not call in advance though they might leave a card on your door if not at home when they come by to speak about a complaint. With a warrant, they would just arrest you..
