My friend received a call from this an claiming to be a Michael Hickes from the law firm Patrick & Assoc. He began to tell her that she was being investigated for writing bad checks in 2008. He told her that if she did not give him $1600 over the phone right then and there that he would be sending a detective to her home and take hr to jail for a minimum of 30 days. I called the number back and when I told him what he was doing was illeagl and that everything I have found online rearding this was a SCAM he began to tell me "what you believe everything you read on the internet, so I guess you believe in Big Foot to" when I asked him why he was imatating a law firm and trying to scam people out of their hard earned money he told me that I was a POS and so was everyone who does not pay their bills. He got extremely angry with me and began cursing and screaming, I laughed at him and it only mad him even more upset. I explained to him the law and that he could not call given false information and trying to scam money and he said " you are probably some 8 dollar an hour secretary." I then told him you are a minimum wage want a be collections agent and asked him does he fell good about himself when he goes home at night and tells his children he is a fraud and a loser he told me so what... Just beware this is a SCAM!!!!!!!
