Number called claiming to be Windows Tech Dept., telling me my computer was constantly sending error messages indicating I had viruses, spyware, and possibly Trojans. It's a scam wanting to get credit card info for the fee to clean up your computer remotely, so remote access into the computer too. Say they are in McKinley, TX which I have not been able to confirm. I do not believe that microsoft offers a service such as this anyway.

I receive the exact same call as the previous user.  don't give them your information

This is a scam.  They are not from Microsoft Tech Support.  They may try to get you to go to ammyy.com which will allow to to control your computer when you run the program.

My caller ID could not show who was calling.  Why would WINDOWS hide their ID.  Scam
