Got a call from these people the other day. Caller ID read Breast Cancer Financial Assistance Program. They call under different names and use many different numbers. As I write the BBB is hot on their tails. Do not give these people any information. I'm a cancer survivor and my wife and I always donate to the cause through the Susan G. Komens foundation. There are many legit organizations through which you can help if you so desire. this is not one of them.

Scammers posing as cancer awareness group seeking donations. Asked for donation by credit card. Hung up when I asked for an address and non profit info

Blame the rep congress for puting no teeth in the do not call registry

I answered the phone when they called. It shows up as Breast Cancer Fa on the caller ID. The number they have for me is the secondary line to a sheet metal business I work at.

The caller did not identify herself, but asked for Susan. I explained no Susan here and asked her to remove my number from the list. She interrupted me again, and again I explained she had the wrong number. She says, "no, I have the right number, wrong name." and starts her pitch.

For a representative of a "breast cancer research company", she was very pushy and very rude. I will be reporting them to the BBB and the do not call list, even though it won't do any good.

Called my land line, left no message.  Thanks to those who posted the 411.  My caller I.D. says "Breast CancerFA".   I really dislike tele-scammers.  I blocked the number and reported it to all the appropriate agencies, for all the good it will do.
