I was greeted with an automated British voice (from a north east Texas number...) asking for me. They said my first name, middle initial, and mispronounced my last name. I pressed one that it was me. Then a woman answered the phone and asked if I was available (mispronouncing my last name again). I said this is him. She hung up.

They call and just sit on phone.  Called back and they want me to tell my DOB and SS# before they will talk to me.

Law office of ?... needed to verify birthday before they would speak to me. I asked what it was regarding, they said it was a personal matter and needed the verification to discuss. I replied that "I" needed more information about the call before I give out personal information, so I guess we're in a standoff... They said Have a good day and hung up.
