they're doing the same thing to me. calling about some meds i don't take and don't need.

Got a call from a woman with a fairly thick Indian accent telling me that she was from the "Visa Security and Fraud Department" and wanted to tell me that fraudulent activity had been detected on my card.  A charge of $700 had been made to a party in New Zealand. I asked which card.  She could only say "Visa".  I asked what bank.   Then she said it was my DIscover Card.  I asked for the last four digits of the card in question.  She said she couldn't tell me due to the "Data Protection Act". I told her that I doubted the veracity of the call and informed her that Visa is not the same thing as Discover and she got quiet and hung up!
